I'm not good with those plants, and in this house i don't have many room for them, because of the less wall space and the gigantic sliding walls.

Gosh, Pam, can you give me some advice on how to get an orchid to rebloom. I have two that have leaves and roots but no flowers had come since the original ones dropped about a year or so ago.

Nancy, I am no expert!  I don't even qualify as an beginner!!  But we have managed to get our orchids to rebloom many times.

Couple of suggestions:  lots of light and from there - it gets down to the species and it's particular needs.

But having said that - I know people that have had amazing success with reblooming keeping their orchid's in unlikely places.

Usually an orchid blooms only once a year or every other year so most likely if yours is going to rebloom it should be happening within in the next few months.  Give the plant orchid fertalizer, water and light and warmth!

If you have access to a local Orchid Society, the members should be most happy to help with advice for your particular species in the climate you live in.

When it does bloom - consider it a gift. We always do!

Happy New Year!
