Collaborative Project: Advent Calendar Christmas Tree Fridge Magnet to Countdown the Days til Christmas!

P1090376

I still can't believe I am finally getting to write this post and that this fun fridge magnet Advent Calendar Christmas Tree is actually currently living on my fridge!

The idea to create a fridge magnet Advent calendar tree has been bubbling around in my mind for a couple years now, but I was pretty certain I didn't have the drawing skills to pull it off, much less the computer chops.

Make a Gingerbread House Advent Calendar

P1090099

You guys already know I am into Advent calendars big time! And you also know that I can't get through the holidays without making at least one gingerbread house!

This year I invited Diane over for a day to help me make a Gingerbread House Advent Calendar - a wild idea I got into my head last January and have been very excited to make ever since. And with a few tricks - easier than you think!

Make a Beautiful Mini Quilt - by Christmas!

P1080475

Here is a really easy gift idea! Make a beautiful handmade mini quilt using a "cheater quilt" design fabric from Spoonflower!

Do what I did! Make a cup of hot cocoa and then browse the 500+ pages of fabric designs on Spoonflower! (Actually I found plenty of appealing choices within the first 12 pages.) Picking your favorites will likely be the hardest part of making your mini quilt gifts!
