Sharing a couple new ideas I came up with for playing with gourds!
This one - my totally cool jack-o-lantern face - could also be drawn onto a fresh pumpkin! Just use sharpies and set aside a little quiet time to doodle to your heart's content.
Definitely will be decorating fresh pumpkins with doodles - they will last a LOT longer than they do when cut!
Even fresh gourds in weird shapes are good candidates! Think about it!

In preparing for our crafty day at the Pumpkin Patch, I put together a handout for visitors to guide them to on line tutorials for fall related crafts.
I thought some of you that are new to my blog might appreciate this easy way to find fall crafts!
And don't forget to check out my Pinterest board - Celebrations and Seasons for more of my favorite fall crafts from the blogisphere!

Playing with gourds and making Matryoshka (Russian Nesting Dolls) again! But this time the inspiration comes entirely from my friend and brilliant art teacher, Gail over at "That Artist Woman".

Hopefully many of you still have a few of those little mini pumpkins still scattered about the house, left over from harvest and Halloween celebrations because Rebecca, one of the trio of sisters who write Roots and Wings Co, and I have some pretty cool ways to use them to light up your Thanksgiving table!
