My sweetie has agreed to show us how to make very cool beaded spiders!

He learned to make them several years ago and since then has taught the technique to friends and rock & mineral club members.

Quick and easy peasy little way to spread Halloween fun throughout the season! Kid tested! Kids find it very entertaining to rearrange the faces every day - or every hour! As do I!

Meet Ginger: my little Halloween Witch.

She was created entirely of farm produce - gourds and corn mostly. Well - there IS a bit of help from felt tip markers and hot glue - so MOSTLY all farm produce!

Actually, something quite similar could be done using fresh squash or pumpkins - but once cut, your squash will likely only last a couple days before it begins to mold. But that is true of pretty much anything made with fresh squash or pumpkins.

Don't throw away those fresh corn husks!!! Use them to make ghosts, scarecrows, and dolls with this very simple "three in one" tutorial.

All you need are fresh corn husks, waxed dental floss and scissors! A bit of scrap yarn and a felt tip pen will come in handy for "embellishing".

Sharing a couple new ideas I came up with for playing with gourds!

This one - my totally cool jack-o-lantern face - could also be drawn onto a fresh pumpkin! Just use sharpies and set aside a little quiet time to doodle to your heart's content.

Definitely will be decorating fresh pumpkins with doodles - they will last a LOT longer than they do when cut!

Even fresh gourds in weird shapes are good candidates! Think about it!
