Thanks to three lovely friends, not operating on all four burners these past couple weeks hasn't been all bad!

I have received three fabulous packages in the mail! It is like - well Christmas in March around here!

I won two giveaways - TWO!

And a new friends from Switzerland sent me ...oops I almost gave it all away! Don't want to do that! I am going to share one package each day!

Back Again!

I am back! Yaaaaaaay! So glad to be feeling like myself again!

Thank you all so much for your sweet notes and comments. So unexpected! AND so appreciated!

I will no way be able to get caught up and send each one of you a personal note - I have been beating myself up over that for a few days now. But there is only so much of me! I will be visiting your blogs however, and leaving a little love note there!

A Little Woven Star Trade

After I posted the tutorial for making yarn stars in December of 2009, a couple of readers wrote me telling me they had been making them as gifts and were so pleased at how they were turning out. They seemed to be having so much fun making them that I asked them if they would consider swapping yarn stars with me!

Childhood, Adventures and Sweden

A cinderella carriage! Knights and fair demoiselles! Magic! Fairy Tales! Castles! Treasures! All the stuff of of childhood dreams and more - and just one of the adventures Sasha invites us to share with her family on Squashed Tomatoes.

A Surprise From Norway!

This lovely surprise arrived just in the big middle of my thank you posts! Just half an hour ago. From Norway!

You do know what this is right? The real stuff to make curled wood ornaments just like the ones in yesterday's post - the roosters from Poland and the German ornaments I have had on my tree since the 70's!
